I am warm, approachable and dedicated to supporting people to reach their potential. Previous to my career as a therapist I worked as a teacher and special educational needs coordinator. I gained a post graduate diploma from Place2Be, the UK's leading mental health organisation for children and adolescents and I have had extensive experience of working with children and their families as a counsellor and on site at The Family School run by Anna Freud Centre. I have moved into working with adults after the successes I have made in my own personal therapy and after many trainings and continuous professional development. I am currently adding to my skill set and training in Humanistic Counselling at Metanoia Institute. I also have direct experience of burn out, stress from being a teacher and feeling utterly stuck in life.

I have worked hard on my self awareness and worked with my own therapist and within group therapy to heal wounded parts of myself and in turn understand myself and my relationships and boundaries better. I am a recovering 'people pleaser' and understanding my codependent patterns has helped me as a mum and gives me insight, empathy and understanding of the problems that come in to the therapy room. I am able to stand alongside clients as they face problems in their life. I am able to help with - among other things - issues such as anxiety, depression, self esteem, relationship difficulties, family conflict, self doubt, stress, anger and angry outbursts and shame.

As well as having my own private practice I see clients at a charity in North London called Rephael House Counselling Centre.
